Vocational courses combine theory and practical learning that relate to a specific job or career sector you are interested in working in. You will study for approximately 18.5 hours a week to develop advantageous skills that employers want and should increase your chances of securing a job within your preferred area.
With an apprenticeship, you will earn a wage whilst you work. It’s usually four days a week working, supported by one day a week of study at college. Employment must be secured to become an apprentice.
