Course Overview
This is one of the apprenticeships commissioned to commemorate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. This apprenticeship will train you to take on responsibility for sustainable practices and solutions within a business or organisation. Job titles may include coordinator and administrator roles related to corporate sustainability responsibility.
A major component of the apprenticeship is learning how to develop strategies that manage social environmental and ethical risks and opportunities while improving reputation and branding. You will also learn about the principles of data management including how to manipulate and store data needed for CR&S projects.
Over the 36-month period, you will attend face to face lessons at least once a month at Kirklees College’s Huddersfield Centre to acquire the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to execute your role at work. During the course, you will cover a range of topics including project planning, communication and managing stakeholder relationships, data analysis, quality assurance and budget management.

Core Skills Gained:
Companies will set their own individual entry requirements. However, as this is a level 4 apprenticeship, students will be expected to have appropriate level 3 qualifications, either a BTEC Extended Diploma, A Levels or a level 3 apprenticeship. Ideally the suitable candidate will hold GCSE English and maths grade 4/C or above.

When you have completed all compulsory elements of the course you will begin to prepare for your End-Point Assessment (EPA). You submit a work-based project report relevant to the needs of your employer and you will also engage in a professional discussion based on a portfolio of evidence you have compiled.
