What will happen on Results Day?

One week before Results Day, we will send you an email with details on how to access your Student ProPortal account and check your results. This email will be sent to the email address you have registered on your student account and to your college email address. Please ensure you can access both your student ProPortal account and college email address account prior to the Results Day(s) to avoid disappointment.

One day before Results Day, we will send you a text message and email to remind you about Results Day and what time your result will be available on your Student ProPortal account the following morning.

On Results Day, you will be able to see your results by 8.30 am on your Student ProPortal account.

On the evening of Results Day, to ensure you have seen and received your results, we will send out an email with your results to your college email address.

When will I recieve my results?

Support and Guidance for your Results

Support, guidance and advice from your tutors will be available to help you make key decisions and understand your results.

On GCSE Results Day, the English and Maths Team will be available via Teams, email, phone or in person if you wish to come in and speak to someone.

Book a place for an in-person enrolment session if you want to speak to the English and Maths Team about what your options are.

Want to resit your GCSE exam?

For resit enquiries, please email ExamResults@kirkleescollege.ac.uk with your:

  • Name/Student Reference Number
  • Date of Birth
  • The subject you need to resit

Want to appeal your results?

The following information explains what may happen following an enquiry about a result and any subsequent appeal.

If your school or college makes an enquiry about a result and a subsequent appeal of one of your examinations after your subject grade has been issued, there are three possible outcomes:

  • Your original mark is lowered, so your final grade may be lower than the original grade you received
  • Your original mark is confirmed as correct, so there is no change to your grade
  • Your original mark is raised, so your final grade may be higher than the original grade you received

How can I collect my certificate?

Once your certificate is ready to collect, you will be sent an email to notify you. Certificates will be retained for up to 12 months.
