A word from us

Our award winning Batley School of Art centre is the home of art and design at Kirklees College and offers multiple level 3 courses, including the very popular Visual Communication course.

As well as offering courses at Batley School of Art, we also offer art and design courses at our Huddersfield Centre for level 1, 2 and 3 courses.

Students have a direct route to higher education with Kirklees College. We offer a fantastic range of creative honours courses in fashion design, fine art, graphic design and photography and moving image, which are all taught at Batley School of Art.

Embarking on an Art and Design career pathway will provide you with many employment options in your future, including architecture, graphic design, interior design, photography and much more!
