Kirklees College is thrilled to announce that Level 1 Culinary Skills student, Isaac, has been selected to compete in the prestigious CombiGuru Challenge in Italy. The CombiGuru Challenge is an annual competition that brings together some of the most talented young chefs from around the world. Participants are challenged to create innovative and exciting dishes that showcase their skills and creativity, and the competition is known for being incredibly rigorous and demanding.
Isaac has always had a passion for cooking. He has spent countless hours honing his skills and experimenting with different ingredients and techniques inside and outside of college and now his hard work has paid off in a big way. With the support of his family, friends and the faculty at Kirklees College, Isaac has pushed himself to new heights and after submitting an impressive application through the Combiguru app, Isaac has been selected to represent the college.
Speaking about his place in the competition, Isaac said:
“I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to compete in the CombiGuru Challenge. I can’t wait to show the world what I’m capable of. I am really grateful to all my friends and teachers at Kirklees College who encouraged me to enter.”
Simon Hallas, Curriculum Area Manager for Hospitality and Catering at Kirklees College added:
“We are incredibly proud of Isaac and all that he has accomplished at Kirklees College. His place in the CombiGuru Challenge is a testament to his talent, hard work and commitment to excellence, and we do not doubt that he will represent our college and our country brilliantly.”
The CombiGuru Challenge will take place in May this year and we will be cheering Isaac on every step of the way. We wish him the best of luck and know that he will do us all at Kirklees College proud!
