Course Overview
Kirklees College is proud to be the only provider in our local area to introduce this Level 4 Advanced Beauty Therapy qualification. Designed for Beauty Therapy professionals, this qualification will equip you with the knowledge and skills to carry out complex and popular beauty therapy treatments on your clients.
You will also cover salon management, dermatology and microbiology, quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector, physiology of ageing, and the chemistry of hair and beauty products.
This course will run 2 days per week.

The practical skills you will gain on this course include microneedling, chemical peel, laser and IPL hair removal, IPL skin rejuvenation, and dermaplaning. Based in our industry-standard salon at Huddersfield Centre, you will have access to all the equipment necessary to learn these skills.
To gain this qualification, you will sit four theory exams, one practical end point assessment with clients throughout the academic year, as well as being continually assessed throughout your units.
