A word from us

Never has the demand for qualified health and social care professionals been higher in our society. Over 1.4 million people work in the NHS in England and a further 1.5 million work in the social care sector. Together they account for one in ten of the working population.

An engaged and empowered NHS workforce will be crucial to meet the many challenges ahead for our health service, including the efficiency challenge and the move towards seven-day services.

One of the greatest demands on the health and social care system comes from older people with multiple long-term conditions who need care for their mental and physical health, as well as social care needs.

People are often unaware of the huge range of rewarding roles the sector offers. Our staff all have practical experience of working in their field of expertise, and we know this ‘hands-on’ knowledge is a vital element of what makes our learning offer so special for our students.

It’s an exciting time to launch your career with us!
