Our Level 3 Media students were able to work with professionals as part of the crew to see what happens behind the scenes on location filming for a TV show and even take part in some of the scenes as extras.
Stewart Jackson, Media Tutor who attended the filming with the students, said:
“We had a fantastic day on set and our students were inspired and engaged by the production crew and other creatives. It was a great real-life learning experience for our students to be able to understand the skills they will need to work in the TV industry and the different career options available to them.”
Ben Sweet, Founder of Film Buddy, added:
“At Film Buddy, we’re all about creating genuine opportunities that support students as they take their first steps and transition into the film and TV industry. For nearly 10 years, we’ve been focused and consistent, quietly building bespoke experiences designed to meet students where they are and give them the real-world exposure and industry understanding they need. Watching them engaged and inspired on set was a powerful reminder of why we do this.”
