Course Overview
The qualification consists of mandatory units, covering core knowledge and skills competencies with optional specialisms which can be combined in flexible ways to reflect the real working context of different learners.
The optional units are designed to meet the requirements of a range of Adult Care services.
The content of the mandatory unit covers person-centred approaches, communication, personal development, equality and inclusion, handling information, duty of care, responsibilities of the role, safeguarding and health, safety and wellbeing.

Core Skills Gained:
You must be aged 19+ and employed working with adults (not children) in a health and social care setting.
You must be working at a senior level, or be supported to develop skills to work at a senior level by your employer.

Can progress onto Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care if wanting to work towards a management role.
