Course Overview

This course gives you a broad overview of the knowledge and skills needed to support children and young people in schools and colleges. As part of your course, you will study a range of modules that look at how you can support children and young people’s education, and looking into educational organisations as a whole.

This course will prepare you to work in a range of settings, including early years, primary, secondary and colleges. Classes will take place weekly, and you can study at either our Huddersfield Centre or Pioneer Higher Skills Centre in Dewsbury.

A minimum of level 1 English and entry level 3 maths. A DBS check and at least 6hrs per week placement/employment in a relevant setting is also required.

This course costs £790. Funding may be available if you meet the eligibility criteria.
