Course Overview

These courses are free of charge if you have not already completed the qualification and can help you gain confidence to progress to a higher level in education or work.

The class times are as follows:

Huddersfield
Tuesday: 12.30pm – 2.30pm or 6pm – 8pm
Thursday: 12.30pm – 2.30pm
Friday: 9.30am – 11.30am

Pioneer
Monday: 9.30am – 11.30am

Online
Wednesday, 6pm – 8pm
Classes focus on further developing your reading and writing skills. You will also develop confidence in speaking with/to others and preparing presentations.

Exams happen at several points in the year.

To join the course, you will need to complete an assessment that will determine the level you are working at and if you are suitable for GCSE or Functional Skills. This will be available at one of our assessment sessions.
