On this course, you will study a range of modules related to digital software development, including: problem solving, programming, emerging issues and the impact of digital, legislation and regulatory requirements, business context, data, digital environments and security.
This course will equip you with a foundation of digital software development skills to help you decide what specialisms you would like to pursue in this field.

Core Skills Gained:
A minimum of GCSE English at grade 5 or above, and four other GCSEs at grade 4 or above to include maths.
You can progress to university level study, a higher apprenticeship or employment in the digital sector.
Job roles you can progress to include web developer, web designer, software developer, computer games tester, computer games developer, e-learning developer, and user experience (UX) designer.
You will be assessed through a mix of written work, an employer set project and exams.
