Want to combine your love for makeup with a career in the creative industries? If you’ve always dreamed of creating looks for film, TV, theatre or the fashion industry, this Level 3 VTCT Media Makeup course is for you!
You will benefit from opportunities to engage with employers and professionals throughout your course, including expert guidance from industry-experienced tutors. In the classroom, learning will be hands-on and practical, and you will also learn about professional conduct and salon health and safety to prepare you for all aspects of life in industry.
Taught by experts at our Pioneer Higher Skills Centre in Dewsbury, you will benefit from access to all the very best facilities and equipment in our bespoke beauty therapy studio. You will cover a range of media makeup skills, including photographic make-up, airbrush makeup, cosmetic camouflage and false eyelash application.
This course will open up a range of opportunities for you, and you will leave college as a qualified makeup professional.

Core Skills Gained:
A minimum of GCSE English and maths at grade 3 or above in either and a Level 2 relevant vocational qualification.
You can progress to employment as a makeup professional.
You can pursue careers as a makeup artist in film, TV, theatre, fashion, or your own business.
You will be assessed through practical and written assignments.
