Course Overview

Through this module, you will develop your understanding of the relationship between marketing and innovation and recognise the key factors in building and nurturing innovation within the marketing function. You will also be able to use internal and external marketing in supporting a specific innovation.
Unit 2: Innovative Marketing will teach you how to apply principles of innovation through the marketing function and allow you to develop a business case for a marketing related innovation.
This module has three units, with two to three learning outcome each, which you will be assigned on. Unit 1: Innovation covers how innovation and disruption are influencing organisational growth and how to assess the key factors that facilitate innovation in organisations.
Unit 3: Innovation in Action will develop your understanding of the activities required for the implementation of innovative marketing and help you develop a plan for the communication of innovation.
