Course Overview
This new course is designed to support your pursuit of a career in education, whether as a support worker, teaching assistant, or in a pastoral/student support role.
You will finish by engaging in a three-day work placement to complete your studies. Successful candidates will then have the opportunity to apply for and be interviewed for a role in the college working in our student support department(s).
The three modules to choose from are: Student Safeguarding, Student Behaviour and Student Mental Health. You will have the opportunity to complete our in-house Introduction to Teaching and Education course before selecting one of three online modules to complete in the area of your choosing.
The course will run Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 2.30pm for three weeks.
