Course Overview

This is an in-depth course that contains all the necessary elements to become a fully qualified commercial skin needling practitioner. During the course, you must achieve four mandatory units, which are: principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies; advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies; advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies and provide cosmetic skin needling treatments.

You will also be taught how to appropriately consult with and analyse clients for skin needling therapies and develop your communication and customer service skills.

You will be taught at one of our bespoke beauty salons in either Dewsbury or Huddersfield, where you will have access to all the latest equipment and be taught by industry experts. Throughout the course, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies.

Entry Requirements

You must have a level 2 and a level 3 in beauty therapy. You also must have GCSE grade 4 and above in both maths & English (or equivalent)

Course Progression

This is a stand-alone qualification but if you wish to develop your knowledge and skills further, you can complete additional specialist VTCT Level 4/5 courses in aesthetic treatments.

Career Progression

The primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare you for employment in the advanced non-medical aesthetic industry providing skin needling techniques. Additionally, you may choose to further develop their knowledge and skills by completing supplementary specialist qualifications at level 4 in one or more of the following areas:

Skin peeling
Radio frequency
Ultrasound
