Course Overview
On this Level 2 BTEC course you will have access to our range of recording studios, live music performance spaces, instruments, DJ decks and production software all located at our Huddersfield Centre. Your lessons will be hands on and practical, and you will be given the creative freedom to work your music skills across performance and production.
You will undertake a number of modules during the course, including professional development, self-promotion and completing a special music project to help you apply your creative skills to real work experience.

Core Skills Gained:
A minimum of four GCSEs with the following grades: English at 3 or above and maths at 2 or above and two other GCSEs at 3 or above.

Level 3 Music course or other Creative Industries course at college.
This course will prepare you for further study and a range of roles in the music industry, including producing and performing.
You will be assessed via an ongoing portfolio of evidence.
