Course Overview
Sessions at Pioneer Higher Skills Centre will take place on Tuesday evenings, 6pm – 9pm, or Wednesday mornings, 9am – 12pm. Sessions at Thornhill Lees Community Centre will take place on Wednesday afternoon, 1pm – 4pm.
You will work with a variety of textiles and be encouraged to harness your creative to make original pieces, as well as learning sewing techniques to add accessories and decoration.
This six-week beginners’ course is designed to teach you a range of basic techniques to help you make and mend clothes and garments. You will learn in a friendly, community environment where your tutor will support you one-to-one, as well as leading the group session.
