New Higher Skills and Higher Education Guide for 2022-2023

Kirklees College has announced the arrival of the new Higher Skills and Higher Education Course Guide for 2022-2023.

With an increased number of new courses starting in September 2022, the college’s HE programmes offer people the opportunity to gain higher level qualifications, work skills and enhanced career prospects.

The college offers a range of HE courses across various sectors, including Animal Management, Business, Childhood Studies, Counselling, Creative Industries, Hair and Beauty, Policing, Teacher Education and more.

The HE programmes also comprises of Access to Higher Education courses and professional qualifications to support students at all stages of their educational journey.

These courses are taught by our industry experienced tutors and provide a flexible and cost-effective alternative to university study.

The opening of the new Pioneer Higher Skills Centre in Dewsbury places Kirklees College at the forefront of delivering Higher Skills and Higher Education in the local area and allows us to offer our learners progression routes and employment opportunities both locally and nationally.

Zulakha Desai, Head of Higher Education and Higher Skills at Kirklees College said:

“We’ve invested £14m as part of the heritage project to restore the Grade II listed building, formerly known as Pioneer House. It’s so important for us to offer bespoke learning facilities in a creative environment that will inspire all of our students and allows them to prosper in their Higher Education studies.”
