Study a career-enhancing qualification in a rapidly evolving and increasingly important industry. The brand-new HNC in Engineering Space Technologies will help students develop the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to understand the core principles of a rapidly evolving industry.
Students will be able to study on a full and part-time basis and be given the opportunity to build advanced knowledge and specialist skills before potentially progressing onto Engineering Space Technologies Higher National Diploma (HND).

Hands-on satellite and CubeSat engineering projects will allow students to apply what they have learnt in a practical and engaging way.
They’ll also have the chance to take part in national space competitions, helping them challenge themselves and showcasing their skills alongside students from across the country.
Guest speakers will also connect students directly with the UK space industry, giving them valuable insight into real careers and developments within the field whilst trips and networking opportunities will help them broaden their experiences.

Along the way, students will develop practical skills in areas such as mechanical engineering, electronics, embedded systems, programming and satellite communications, helping them build the knowledge and confidence needed for further study or a career in the space and engineering sectors.
