In partnership with Model Citizens, we are excited to announce that Kirklees College will be launching its very own radio station!
Funded by the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF) and the West Yorkshire Mayor’s Safer Communities Fund, our partnership with Model Citizens on this new initiative aims to raise awareness around the issues that affect our local communities.
The Model Citizens programme is also supported by Alison Lowe, Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime West Yorkshire. Our Model Citizens tutors will also be hosting DJing workshops for KC students.
This new radio station is open to all students and staff who want to take part and is a fantastic opportunity for personal development. Watch this space for more information coming soon!
