Course Overview
This course has been designed by employers and is informed by national and international standards for aesthetic beauty. On the course you must achieve the mandatory unit, ‘Enhance Appearance using Dermaplaning Techniques’ and upon completion of the course, you will be qualified to offer dermaplaning treatments.
In order to pass the course, you will have to pass a theory examination, undertake and pass a number of case studies and also pass a practical examination.
You will attend a number of sessions at one of our bespoke beauty therapy salons in either Dewsbury or Huddersfield. Here, our industry qualified tutors will teach you how to conduct dermaplaning and you will learn all about the regulations and safety protocols required when giving this treatment.

This is a stand-alone qualification but if you wish to develop your knowledge and skills further, you can complete additional specialist VTCT Level 4 courses, including:
Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling
Level 4 Certificate in Skin Peeling
You will be a fully qualified dermaplaning practitioner at the end of this course, which you can offer at the salon you work in or as part of your own treatment list.
