GCSE English at grade 4/C or above and preferably maths at grade 4/C or above
A satisfactory enhanced DBS is required for this course
Mature students without the traditional qualifications who can show evidence of sufficient and appropriate work-related experience will also be considered.
APEL opportunities are available for those with additional qualifications that can evidence learning outcomes for existing modules.
You can progress into employment or continue your studies onto a ‘Top-Up’ degree at Level 6 in Health and Social Care, e.g. BSc (Hons) Health & Social Care, or BA (Hons) Applied Community & Social Care Studies.
Teaching and learning strategies include formal lectures, seminars, group activities, project work and private independent study. Work-based learning is integral to the course aims, enabling the use and evaluation of skills and knowledge in practice.
