This Higher National Diploma has been designed around the needs of industry employers and will equip you with the knowledge necessary for a successful career in a leadership role within the area of Travel and Tourism you currently work in, or aspire to work in.
All your units and learning will be tied to workplace behaviours and best practice, equipping you with the professional skills necessary to work in a management role.

As well as your mandatory modules, you will also choose from six specialist pathways: Aviation; Destination Management; Events; Innovation, Culture and Heritage; Sustainable Management and Tour Operations. The breadth and depth of topics covered will expand your knowledge of a range of business functions within the Travel and Tourism industry, and the opportunities available as a leader.

Progression from the Level 4 HNC or an alternative HNC from another college, on approval of unit choice.
You can progress directly into employment, or apply for a related course at University or Higher Apprenticeship Level.
The full-time course fee for this course is £6,950. Financial support including Advanced Learner Loans are available for this course.
Completion of the HND will prepare you for a range of managerial and leadership roles across the various Travel and Tourism industries.
You will be assessed on a range of written and practical assignments throughout the HND.
