Course Overview
This qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as a Salon Manager. It will allow you to develop both management and technical skills required for the role. Areas of study include management of health, safety and security in the salon, quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector, sales management and public relations in the sector and salon management.
Also included in this course are units on laser and light treatments and hair colour correction. You will learn how to manage the creation of a hair style collection, hair and scalp specialist services, and micro-pigmentation.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills by choosing from a range of subjects to study. These will include research in the sector, salon design, IT and data handling for the hair and beauty sector, marketing, and human resource management. Others areas of study available include airbrush make-up, permanent lashes, intimate waxing, micro-dermabrasion, prosthetic make-up and advanced epilation techniques.
During this course you will learn and develop a range of interpersonal skills you will need to have to be a successful Salon Manager. These include, time management, organisational skills,

Core Skills Gained:
Entry on to this qualification can be via previous attainment of a hair or beauty qualification at Level 3.
After this course you could progress into salon management or teaching after relevant industry experience.
You will be assessed through a mixture of skills assessment, written assignments, and exams
