Course Overview

On this course you will learn a arange of techniques to help you lead on internal quality assurance processes and practices in education. During the first module, you will produce a work plan for your own area of responsibility and explain the context in which work is to be undertaken.
You will also cover ways to monitor the progress and quality of work in own area of responsibility and provide feedback. This includes monitoring and evaluating progress against agreed standards, and providing feedback to team members.
You will also learn to be able to allocate and agree responsibilities with team members and provide SMART targets (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-bound).
Building on work plans, you will also gain the skills to be able to review and amend plans of work for own area of responsibility and communicate changes. Review and amend work plan where changes are needed.

There are four weeks of face-to-face sessions for this course, but you will have a year to complete the qualification. Lessons starting on 23 January take place on Thursdays, 1pm – 4pm.
