As a Plastering Apprentice, you will learn the skills and techniques required to become a qualified plasterer. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in preparing surfaces, applying plaster, and finishing walls and ceilings to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing surfaces for plastering, including cleaning, measuring, and applying bonding agents.
  • Mix and apply different types of plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
  • Learn to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support the team with site setup and clean-up.
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople.

Training:

The successful candidate will attend Brunel Construction Centre – Kirklees College one day per week, on the Level 2 Plasterer apprenticeship.
