Course Overview

This Learning Curve course allows you to gain a credited NCFE qualification in team leading. The course will give you the skills and confidence to lead and manage people effectively. You will learn the principles of team leading, how to use different styles of leadership to enhance your team’s performance and how to get the best out of them.
This course is classed as ‘individual study’, therefore, there is no lessons to attend in the college or online. An assessor will be allocated to you and send you an email with induction information to complete yourself. You will be provided with login details for the college VLE for induction and separate login details for the actual course materials.
The course is made up of eight units: principles of team leading; understanding business; understanding how to communicate work-related information; understanding how to deliver customer service and resolve problems; understanding how to develop working relationships with colleagues; introduction to coaching; introduction to mentoring and understanding personal development.
