This beauty therapy qualification is ideal if you wish to gain the formal qualification required to perform aesthetic therapies and access additional study of advanced therapy treatments at Level 4 and above.

Course Overview
This qualification consists of units at Level 2 and 3 combined to provide you with the required underpinning knowledge to afford direct progression onto specific modality training at Level 4 and above.
Throughout this qualification, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, anatomy, physiology, and pathology and electrical science, alongside skin analysis and safe practice treatment protocols for facial skin care.
You must achieve the mandatory units: maintain health and safety in the salon, skin analysis and facial skincare, consultation and client care, anatomy, physiology and pathology and electrical science.
You will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.

A minimum of GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above and a Level 2 relevant vocational qualification. You will need to be 18 years old to enrol on this course.
Additional study at Level 4+ in the beauty aesthetic industry
You can progress to employment in the beauty industry with the qualification to be able to perform aesthetic therapies, once qualified.
To be awarded this qualification, you must successfully achieve the following assessments: externally set and internally assessed practical assessments, externally set and externally marked theoretical examinations and a completed treatment evidence portfolio.
