This free online course provides you with the knowledge and understanding of common childhood illnesses to enable you to support the development and wellbeing of infants and children you care for.
This course is classed as ‘independent study’, There are no lessons to attend in the college or online. An assessor will be allocated to you and send you an email with induction information to complete yourself. You will be provided with login details for the college VLE for induction and separate login details for the actual course materials which you will be expected to complete and submit independently.
This course is suitable for adults working or volunteering with children, young people or adults or adults with an interest in this subject. You will complete this course on our online learning platform, where your knowledge will be assessed by a personal tutor through a series of written questions over several units.
