Course Overview
This course will take place on Tuesdays, 5.30pm – 8.30pm.
This 7-week course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills to carry out bricklaying tasks, you will learn about health and safety and all about the tools and equipment you will be required to use.
On this course you will you will develop an understanding of basic bricklaying tasks such as: preparing resources in preparation of building walls, setting out, building brick walls and jointing/pointing techniques.
On completion of this course you could develop you skills further by enrolling on our E3 Award in Bricklaying or perhaps an alternative DIY course such as joinery or plastering. This course will take place on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm – 8.30pm.
You will need to bring a pair of safety boots (steel toe).
