Course Overview

Classes will be on Tuesdays, 11.30am-2.30pm.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting child-initiated and adult-led activities based around the needs and interests of each individual child.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will also support the observation and assessment of children and contribute to their learning experiences and assist with the care needs of the individual child.
You will support children’s learning through planned, purposeful play opportunities and educational programmes and working as part of a team to ensure each child feels safe and secure.

A minimum of level 1 English and entry level 3 maths. A DBS check and 10 hrs per week placement/employment in a relevant setting is also required.
Level 3 Diploma Support in Teaching and Learning (entry criteria applicable)
Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (entry criteria applicable)
Employment in a pre-school setting
