This course is ideal if you are wanting an introduction to the highly skilled craft of woodturning. Woodturning is the process of using tools to cut and mould shapes onto wood while it turns on an axis of rotation.
You will learn the basic principles of woodturning and learn how to set up the lathe safely. You will also be shown the basic techniques of turning and how to maintain the equipment through a series of demonstrations and activities.
Class times: 09:00-12:00
