This course provides you with a basic introduction to DIY joinery around the house.
This six-week course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills to carry out joinery tasks, you will learn about health and safety and all about the tools and equipment you will be required to use.
This six-week course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills to carry out joinery tasks, you will learn about health and safety and all about the tools and equipment you will be required to use.
On this course you will you will develop an understanding of joinery tasks such as: making basic joinery joints, fitting skirting boards, hanging doors, installing locks and hinges, as well as erecting shelving.
Students will require a pair of safety boots (steel toe).

On completion of this course you could develop you skills further by enrolling on our E3 Award in Joinery or perhaps an alternative DIY course such as bricklaying or plastering.
