Course Overview
The Level 3 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring is designed for supervisors and first line managers. It builds on the learning gained in both the Award and Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring. You will learn the roles and responsibilities of a coach or a mentor, the techniques of understanding your clients, and giving feedback will be taught and discussed.
You will discover the attractive characteristics of a coach and mentor and learn how to provide effective feedback while maintaining the trust. Importantly you will study how to complete the coaching and mentoring cycle and complete the necessary evaluation of the activity.
On this course you will study the purpose of coaching and mentoring and how it differs from each other. You will learn how to better coach employees to meet desired results and understand how to use the SMART technique to set appropriate goals. During further study you will examine the benefits of fostering good working relationships, and explore the various obstacles that could stop the development and growth of an employee.
You complete this course at your own pace to an agreed deadline with your tutor. This course has mutiple starts throughout the year.
