Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing materials and surfaces for bricklaying tasks.
- Learn to lay bricks, blocks, and paving stones accurately and safely.
- Support the construction of outdoor features such as retaining walls, edging, and steps.
- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure the worksite is clean and safe.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme.
Training:
The successful candidate will attend Brunel Construction Centre – Kirklees College one day per week, on the Level 2 Bricklayer apprenticeship.
