Course Overview

On this course, you will cover topics that are relevant to the business industry to prepare you for a future career in management and administration. Whilst on your two-year course, you will study business
and commercial awareness. You will develop an understanding of project and change management, including common change management theories and models, which will help you support and improve business projects.
This T Level is exam-based in your first year, so you will be preparing to sit two core knowledge exam papers, which will be sat in June. You will have an employer-set project in your first year, which contains controlled assessments. You will also undertake an industry placement, which will start towards the end of your first year and continue into the second year of your studies.
The course will also provide you with real-life practices to use in future roles, such as working
collaboratively with others. You will also understand the importance of good communication and how to adapt your communication in a business environment. You will learn how to change your behaviour when speaking to different audiences depending on the context.
You will also have to complete additional mandatory units, including Level 2 functional skills or GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above. UCAS points will be attached with a value equivalent to three A-levels, meaning the completion of this qualification will allow you to progress to higher education courses and training.
