Course Overview
During this Level 3 course, you will study the fashion industry and textile making techniques in depth to develop your personal creative practice and portfolio. This will prepare you for higher level study and a career in the industry.
You will also develop your textile making skills, including design for interiors and accessories. Throughout the course, you will work with your Personal Development Coach to find suitable work placement opportunities which will give you the vital experience needed to work in this competitive and demanding industry.
Fashion skills you will develop include pattern cutting, dressmaking, digital content creation and design. You will also study womenswear, menswear and childrenswear and other design niches, including bridal, costumes, knitwear and different cultural / themed dress.

Core Skills Gained:
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and maths and a GCSE/Level 2 qualification in fashion or a creative subject.

Higher Education, including Foundation and BA (Hons) degrees in fashion-related subjects.
Fashion design, personal stylist, fashion buyer, merchandising, fashion marketing and retail manager.
You will be continually assessed through project work and your portfolio.
