Course Overview
The Vocational Pathways provision is a full-time study programme for students who wish to progress onto a Level 1 vocational programme but may need some extra support. The course focuses on personal and social development, English and maths, work-based activity and vocational tatsers within the college.
On the Hair and Beauty pathway, your learning will take place in one of our modern salons and you will be taught by industry experts.The course will cover a variety of basic hair and beauty techniques and treatments and you will particpate in practical activities covering areas such as facials, nail design and hair styling. Students will practice on real clients and may also practice treatments on other students on the same course at Kirklees College.

If you have an EHCP then please be aware that the college needs to have agreed, via the consultation period with your local authority, that we can meet the needs outlined in your EHCP before you can start on a course with us.
