Course Overview
The UAL Diploma in Creative Media Production (Games Development) is offered at level 2 and level 3. In partnership with the University of Huddersfield, using a project-based approach, you will learn industry standard skills that allow you to create three fully playable games in each year.
Using industry standard software (Unity), you will research, plan, develop, test, and showcase your games to a selection of your peers.

In year one, you will create a series of game projects with each project developing specific game development skills and processes.
Alongside this you will explore the different requirements for successful employment within the Games Industry.
On the second year of the course, you will extend your skills to explore 3D.
You will be assessed on a final project at the end of each year, after developing the skills needed.

Core Skills Gained:
5 GCSEs grade 4 or above to include English and maths.

You will be assessed through assignments and practical project work that count towards your final grade. Your tutor will provide regular feedback and maintain a record of assessment. All student work may be externally verified.
