Martin is the Chief Executive at Calderdale + Kirklees Careers Ltd – a position he feels proud and honoured to have. Martin has worked in West Yorkshire for 30 years and in Kirklees for the last 11 and trained as a teacher in Huddersfield 32 years ago. Martin has vast experience of all age education, skills and careers world and has an extensive background in local and regional skills policy and programmes. He is passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion and believes everybody has the right to access support that will enable them to achieve their aspirations.
