Congratulations on your recent offer of a place at Kirklees College. We would like to invite you to attend a welcome day ahead of enrolment.
Our website has plenty of information regarding courses but a Welcome Day is a great way to meet your new teaching team, find out more about your course, take part in some practical activities and of course, find out who your new classmates are!
They are a chance for you to see what studying at Kirklees College is really like and give you a chance to learn more about starting your journey with the KC Community.

Frequently Asked Questions about our Welcome Days
Welcome days take place between 23 June and 1 July, you will receive a save the date via email with all the information you will need.Â
You can complete the booking form on the welcome day page of the website or you can email Sturec@kirkleescollege.ac.uk
If you email, please make sure you include your student ID, date of birth, centre and the course you have applied for.
Some of our welcome days will ask you to wear specific clothing, all details will be sent out with your invite.
We will provide you with pizza and refreshments for lunch.
There will be an introduction to the department and staff and a chance to meet your classmates. You will have a tour of your area and find out further information about your course and progression opportunities, as well as an idea of your timetable. There will also be a practical activity for you to take part in. You will be provided with information on any costs which may be incurred during your course.Â
