Imagine building a computer, then connecting it securely to a network. This is the exciting first step that could lead to a rewarding IT career. This course covers the skills needed for entry-level IT jobs. CISCO IT Essentials provides a better understanding of computer systems, preventing damage and assembling a computer system. Once you assemble the computer, you will learn how to install the software, networking and troubleshooting.
Use the CISCO Learning Academy course materials to work at your own pace and improve your knowledge of computers. Gain a better understanding of mobile technologies, configuration, diagnostics and security threats, such as malware, phishing and social engineering. The course is to be delivered predominantly online, but there are hands-on elements of the course, which require you to complete tasks practically as well as theoretically.
