Landings 72 is a fabulous fine dining restaurant, operated by our Hospitality and Catering students.

The best kept secret in Huddersfield

Whatever the occasion, our students are committed to giving you the best restaurant experience possible. We deliver a professional, friendly environment with a fully licensed bar at competitive prices.

From September 2016 Landings 72 is open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm serving Starbucks coffee and snacks.

Freshly prepared food is available; breakfast from 8.30 am; light bites from 11 am and restaurant menu from 12 noon served by the Hospitality and Catering students

We offer a range of exciting and modern menus including vegetarian choices.  Special events are planned throughout the year

Wheelchair friendly access to Landings 72 is obtained either via the Manchester Road entrance where we have lift access to our restaurant or you can use the Chapel Hill entrance.  Go through the double doors to the left of the main steps and into the lift.

The nearest car park is pay and display at Folly Hall, St Thomas’s Road (sat nav HD1 3LD).

Limited disabled parking is available nearby on Manchester Road.

The Huddersfield Free Bus passes by our Manchester Road entrance and leaves the bus station every 10 minutes.

28th and 29th September

Landings 72 is hosting two special dinner menu evenings on Wednesday 28 September and Thursday 29 September, with a selection of fish, pork, duck and vegetarian main dishes available, this three course meal will be sure to satisfy!

Get a taste of the Caribbean at Landings 72 this October.  Curry goat, jerk chicken and fried plantain all feature on this special 3 course menu with vegetarian options available as well.

Boneless curried goat
Pan fried red snapper fillet with a spicy tomato creole sauce
Vegetable pot: selection of Caribbean vegetables and pulses baked in a copper pot

Throughout November you can experience high quality wining and dining at Landings 72! From Wednesday 2 November to Thursday 24 November, we will be offering a fine selection of meals including beef brisket and poached guinea fowl to name a few!

‘Tis the season to be jolly with a mouth watering three course Christmas dinner menu available at Landings 72! Enjoy some classic Christmas dishes, including roast turkey with all the trimmings and some good old Christmas pudding!
