Engineering

Look around you, we guarantee that everything you see around you started with an engineer.

A word from us

Engineering is everywhere; in the products you experience (tablets, mobiles, clothing) and in the design of the environment around you (steel structures in buildings, lighting elements, air conditioning). Because it’s such a broad subject, there are almost endless avenues you can go down career-wise; much will depend on how your interests develop as your understanding of the subject develops. Our teaching team can also help you identify which area of engineering would be best suited to you.

It can also take you around the world. Engineering firms in the region are crying out for young people to join their companies, but there are also worldwide employment opportunities in this prestigious career for the best candidates.

Engineering is competitive; we need the best students to meet the high expectations that employers have for their new recruits, but the rewards are there in terms of job satisfaction, career prospects, and great earning potential.

A word from our students

The best part of the course is that you get realistic work experience in a company while you study and without college I wouldn’t have my job at Bogwarner Turbo Systems in Bradford.
