There’s going to be a Kirklees College Takeover at the Huddersfield Town versus Newcastle match on Saturday March 4.

Kirklees College’s new principal Marie Gilluley has started her new role as Principal and Chief Executive and is looking forward to the challenges it will bring.

Students selected for exceptional achievement or major progress at Kirklees College attended a glittering awards ceremony to receive their prize.

Initial work has started this week to clear the land which will see two brand new educational facilities built in the heart of Dewsbury town centre.

A recent Government report states that the existing arrangements for post 16 education and training in Kirklees are the best option for the area.
