Hospitality and Catering – Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship Level 3

Hospitality supervisors work across a wide variety of businesses including bars, restaurants, cafés, conference centres, banqueting venues, hotels or contract caterers.

Overview

You will provide vital support to management teams and will be capable of independently supervising hospitality services and running shifts.

You will typically work under pressure delivering fantastic customer service and motivating a team is essential to your role.

The majority of supervisors’ skills and knowledge are the same but supervisors may specialise in specific functions or work across a variety of functions which reflect the multi-functional nature of the industry.

Uniform and equipment will be discussed at interview.

Entry Requirements

  • You must have an employer to support you through your Apprenticeship and give you time off work to attend college. Many people find their own job or are already employed but if not, college staff can attempt to help you find employment.
  • A level 2 qualification and ideally English and maths grade 4/C or above.

As an apprentice it will not cost you anything to do the course.  If you are aged 19 or over your employer may have to make a contribution towards your tuition fees.
