Course Overview

A recruitment resourcer may be employed in any organisation that requires a recruitment function. Their role is to identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of the business brief and provide resourcing support to the recruitment function.
As a recruitment resourcer, you will research, identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfill the requirements of the business brief, identify new business opportunities and refer these opportunities to a recruiter and ensure industry codes of ethics and relevant legislation are adhered to.
You will develop your understanding of the candidate attraction and selection processes, recruitment sales techniques and processes and how to support them, market rates and conditions within their sector, the principles and importance of using research, for resourcing, the principles of the recruitment models and employee rights and responsibilities.
In your role, you will research, identify and attract candidates, write, place and update adverts in line with company procedures, monitor responses/applications received, shortlist suitable candidates and assist in the recruitment and selection processes. You will develop candidate relationships and provide first line support for all enquiries.

Core Skills Gained:

Must be employed in a recruitment role. Ideally GCSE English and maths grade 4 / C or above.

To start your apprenticeship you must have secured employment that the college has agreed is suitable.
Level 3 HR Support
As an apprentice you will not be expected to pay any fees. If you are 19+ then your employer will be required to make a contribution to the cost of your training.
