What will the apprentice be doing?
You will support the salon team in the smooth day to day running of the salon:
· Assisting the stylists
· Reception duties (including answering the phone and making client appointments)
· Meeting and greeting clients
· Making drinks
· General housekeeping throughout the day to ensure the salon is always welcoming and kept presentable.
Practical training will be provided on the role, and will include but not limited to:
· Mixing colours for stylists, assisting stylists with application of colours/toners once trained and comfortable
· Styling/blow-drying clients,
· Shampooing clients
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will receive your Level 2 Hair Professional qualification.
- You will attend college one day a week for the delivery of your apprenticeship.
- You will attend our Waterfront Quarter Centre in Huddersfield town centre.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- There may be a possibility of securing permanent employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship, based on performance.
