With over twenty years of manufacturing experience we currently supply an ever widening range of air handling equipment and packaged boiler & tank rooms to the UK mechanical services industry. Our reputation has been established through close attention to detail and a quality build that is hard to beat.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you’ll do at work

Reporting into the factory foreman, your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Following Engineering drawings and instructions
  • Shaping and cutting out sections, using hand tools and CNC Press Brakes
  • Finishing items with grinders and polishers
  • Assembling bespoke sections using riveting, welding, and bolting methods
  • To prepare surface finishes to the required standard
  • To record changes required to drawings to enable production information to be corrected and maintained accurately
  • To help manufacture panels in stainless steel
  • Understanding of engineering drawings
  • Able to safely use associated machines and tools (e.g. guillotines, rollers and drills)
  • To maintain a high standard and quality of work
  • Ensure safe working practices at all time
  • Responsible for good housekeeping in your own work area
  • Competent in the safe use of power and hand tools
